Earlier this evening I was enjoying a dish that is commonly refered to as "Dixie Chili Dip", from those of us from the Cincinnati/Northern KY tri-state area, and drinking a cherry coke. Directly following this fine meal I enjoyed a cigarette. About halfway through this cigarette I noticed a foul taste in my mouth and after some pondering I realised that the taste in my mouth was none other than pickleloaf. I don't think I have ever actually even tasted pickleloaf but I have smelled the disgusting stuff and it is one of those things that I imagine tastes exactly like it smells. In conclusion, Dixie Chili Dip (philadelphia cream cheese, Dixie fake Chili & shredded cheese) + Cherry Coke + 1 Marlboro Ultra Light = pickleloaf. Sick.
This is posted mostly as a warning to all that these elements are 3 great tastes that taste weird together. Don't do it!

Headphoners
The Headphone's, a Pedro the Lion side project, self-titled album is released today on Suicide Squeeze Records. David Bazan, aka Pedro, on vocals. No guitars. It feels warm and inviting, melodic and comforting. I'm not sure about it yet though, perhaps I'm put off because I was completely unaware of this project until about half an hour ago. I need to know these things sooner to prepare.

Baby, I'm bad news...
Rilo Kiley have a video for the best song on their latest album, More Adventurous, "Portions for Foxes". I thought it wouldn't hurt to link to it on here for 3 reasons:
1.) Jenny Lewis is the cutest indie rocker girl ever. How anyone could ever resist her stunning fashion sense AND the fact that she starred in the classic film The Wizard alongside Fred Savage, well, I'll never know. How can any NES loving child of the 80's not love her unconditionally solely based upon that fact? (Maybe I need to devote an entire post on my undying love for The Wizard. Yes. Yes, I do.)
Alright, anyway... back to Jenny's current project, Rilo Kiley.
2.) The song, "Portion for Foxes", in case you forgot during my rant, is fun.
And 3.) The taxidermy.
The members of Rilo Kiley, amidst stuffed dead things, mildy rocking out in various fashionable outfits found below, in various formats to please Zebra.

Come on, Feel the Illinoize!!
Lots of great hi-res photos and a detailed article on Sufjan's new album are located here. The new album is succintly titled Illinois. The cover on this page says the album title is Come On Feel the Illinois but I'm thinking someone just whipped it up for shits and giggles since no cover art has officially been declared to us publix yet.
Oh, and Wyoming is next? I said Kentucky, Sufjan! KENTUCKY!
